C&F Progress to date


1989 - Galway - Established in Galway to design &manufacture jigs and press tools.
1995 - Galway - Official opening of Greenfield site at Cashla, Athenry, Co. Galway.
1995 - Galway - Expanded the business into the pressing of sheet-metal components.
1996 - Galway - Received ISO 9001 approval.
1997 - Galway - Expanded the presswork facilities with a 1,200 sq. metre extension.
1997 - Galway - Commenced supply to the USA.
1998 - Galway - Additional extension of 1,200 sq. metres to premises for assembly lines.
1998 - Galway - Established a hubbing facility in the US.

1998 - Galway - Invested in an electronics company to develop integration into the assembly business.

 

1998 - Galway - Addition of a further 2,600 sq. metres to premises allowing for the expansion of the pressing facility.

 

1998 - Galway -Diversified into the soft-tooling business to service low volume production requirements which do not warrant hard tool investment.

 

1999 - Galway - Extended premises by 2,600 sq. metres to house additional plant and machinery.
1999 - Galway - Toolroom extended by 1200 sq. meters.
1999 - Galway - Invested in overhead crane for handling large tools up to 10 ton.
1999 - Galway - Relocation of cable harness assembly from Shannon to Galway.
2000 - Galway - Further extension of 2600 sq. meters for M.I.G., T.I.G. and resistance spot welding.
2000 - Galway - Incorporated Paint Shop into the facility.
2001 - Galway - Opened state of the art paint plant within a dedicated building
2002 - Galway - Introduced a Robotic Welding Cell into Ireland.
2002 - Czech - Officially opened a new Manufacturing Facility in the Czech Republic.
2003 - Czech - Further Extension of 90,000 sq. feet for manufacturing.
2004 - Philippines - New Manufacturing Facility in the Philippines to service our Asian markets.
2005 - Philippines - Expanded manufacturing facility by  30,000 sq. feet
2005 - Philippines - Commence product shipping to USA.
2006 - Galway -Invested in TRUMF 3030 Laser cutting technology.
2006 - Philippines – Invested $950,000 for a second Paint Plant
2006 - Galway - Invested €1,200,000 in new Paint Plant facility.

2007 - January - Galway - Signed Muck Truck Contract to manufacture and distribute worldwide from 3 sites - Galway Czech Republic and Philippines

 

2008 - March - Galway - Purchased an additional 8 acres - doubling the Galway site
2008 - China - July: Officially opened a new Manufacturing facility in DongGuam, China
2008 - Galway –Commenced expansion to facility by a further  20,000 sq. feet 
manufacturing.
2008 - July - Commenced an expansion to manufacturing facility by  30,000 sq. feet
